Wow! What an evening? This was the first church service
after five teenagers from Sweet died in a car crash. It was a very emotional
evening with the fathers of the teenagers speaking at the beginning of service.
What’s amazing about this is that these fathers are LDS…. Yet they came especially
to share their thanks for our prayers and support. Sweet is definitely a small,
interconnected community!
On the children side – I pray that they are able to work
through the deaths. A lot of them knew these teenagers either by seeing them in
school (abet in a higher grade) or as a babysitter. We addressed a little bit
of ‘why’ bad things happen Sunday evening. I pray that they understood it… God
it is in your hands.
